GREENSBURG (KDKA) — Authorities have issued a warrant for a Westmoreland County woman after several animals, both dead and alive, were found in the abandoned home she used to live in.
The home is located in the 900-block of Beacon Valley Road in Greensburg.
According to the Humane Society, the home was about to be foreclosed on, but the woman who lived there – identified as Amanda Rubus – had already moved out.

When a humane officer went to the home today to serve a search warrant, authorities say the official found seven cats severely dehydrated but alive and four other animals that were dead.
Those animals include one cat, a pot-bellied pig, an iguana and a bearded dragon.
